RARE 1972 Nixon Agnew Metal Elephant GOP Vote Right Coin Bank Political

We are offering a rare, working vintage coin bank from the 1972 United States Presidential Election between incumbent President Richard M. Nixon and his opponent Senator George McGovern. Nixon won the re-election in one of the biggest landslides in history but would resign in 1974 following the infamous Watergate scandal. The bank operates by putting a coin on the trunk and pulling the tail to mechanically insert it into the bank.

You can't find this anywhere online and is a perfect piece for any history buff or anyone with an interest in United States politics. Perfect for a mantle or desk decoration!

The bank measures appproximately 6" long by 5" tall by 2 1/4" deep. I was told that it is made of lead but it could be base metal.

Condition:
There is some wear on the bank with some paint chipping. While the bank does work, the two pieces are slightly loose and you can feel it when picking it up.
Please look at photos as an extension of our written description.
