Offering today this Vintage 1960s Silvertone (Sears, Roebuck Co.) Danelectro manufactured model # 1448 Amp-in-Case electric guitar. There is no case, we’re offering the guitar only.
Instrument features a chambered Masonite & pine body and a poplar neck with rosewood finger board.
Known for her iconic double horn cutaway design and warm, jangly sound. All original parts, other than the open back six to a side tuning mechanisms w aged off white plastic buttons(might be original??).
Guitar was originally made for the Sears, Roebuck Co catalog. This guitar is a strummer's delight, and provides a more aggressive, grunge-y, boxcar type of tones. I personally find its individuality quite inspiring.

Given a fresh professional setup by our trusted luthier, Dave Fecca Guitar Repair of Moorestown, NJ. Fully playable condition. This guitar is not perfect, but she’s in quite good+ shape considering her age and retention of her original parts. Some paint flecking around the edges of the body, and some light discoloration around the pick guard and sides. A little bit of checking at the top of the fingerboard. A few small knicks around the edges, back of body, and side of headstock.
Frets have loads of meat. Nothing very significant or condition issues that interfere with functionality or cosmetic integrity of this axe. Comes with a quality padded non original gig bag.
