Offered here is an extraordinary carved onyx face pin, the base of which is sterling silver. The carved face measures about 1.5" x .75" and is bezel set to the base and accented by a rope twist border.
The ornate headdress, also sterling silver, is raised a bit from the face and has open work, beading, and a dangle drop on either side. The piece as a whole is 2.25" x 1.75" and has an enclosed back with hinged locking pin.
The back is stamped with STERLING MEXICO. Very good condition with some very slight scuffing and tarnish. Also a small dent in the center of the headdress, but this in no way takes away from the beauty or integrity of the piece.
Weighs 0.75ozt or 23.4 grams.
