Vintage 1973 Fender Telecaster Deluxe w/ Seth Lover CuNiFe Wide Range Humbuckers (Early Gibson Tech), Black Finish, OHSC, Fresh Pro Setup, Original Hardware.
Here we have a 1973 Fender Telecaster Deluxe Solid Body Electric Guitar, made in Fullerton, California, featuring a black finish, an ash body, maple neck, and she comes with her original black hard shell case. Very slick, very good condition, bordering on excellent condition.
*Summary*
This Telecaster comes from the CBS era of Fender, but retains many of the original design elements from its late-'60s predecessors. Most notably, this Tele sports a pair of High-Output, Wide-Range CuNiFe (Copper, Nickel, Iron) Humbuckers designed by the one and only, Seth Lover. For the uninitiated; Seth Lover is the mastermind engineer behind the original Gibson PAF Humbuckers used in Gibson guitars from late 1956-‘62. In other words: “May I interest you in a shot of OG Gibson with your Vintage Telecaster”?

*Condition*
No visible repairs, no cracks, no loss of finish, no replaced components that we are aware of, other than a re-fret.
Guitar is almost all original except for a re-fret that was performed about 4 years ago. She has her original electronics, hardware, tunIng assemblies and her original hard shell case. As any guitar that has reached the ripe age of 51, it has plenty of character marks to show its age. The front and back body have some minor dings and scratches. Most notably: the neck plate shows minute, faint scratches, and two parallel from each other on the left middle region. Minimal scratches on the chrome neck plate and pickups. Three side by side dings on the front left body. The neck has some dings at the 5th fret that doesn’t affect playability. Headstock has minor dings on the front right and top. The chrome around the tuners and on the bridge is in good shape, but showing minor wear and very light oxidation. Most notable cosmetic play wear exists on the bottom front edge of the guitar.
This piece has a nice balance; Not beat up and doesn’t look like it’s spent abusive time on the road, but not so pristine that we start to talk about museum pric….let’s not even go there.
