Antique 1867 Wedgwood Rosso Antico Redware Capriware Teapot Floral Designs RARE

This charming Wedgwood teapot, crafted in 1867, is a lovely example of Antico Rosso. Its warm, earthy red ceramic has a soft matte finish that feels timeless and natural. Delicate floral sprigs, hand-painted in vivid enamels, bring a vibrant pop of color, accented with subtle touches of gold for an exotic flair. The graceful curves of the spout and body complement the floral designs, offering a beautiful contrast to the understated matte surface. Inspired by Chinese famille rose porcelains, this piece reflects Wedgwood's effort to capture their elegance and popularity with the
Chinoiserie style. Part of the Redware and Capriware series, it highlights the skill and creativity behind Wedgwood’s Rosso Antico line.

Overall Good condition. There is some speckling and small nicks in the paint around the body. A few chips in the lid. But the overall condition of the foundation and art is quite nice. There's also a patch on the spout side that is lighter in color then the rest of the piece, with a small mark in the middle that looks like paint drip. I believe this may be a manufacturing mark, but I cannot confirm.
