Vintage 1922 Dog Show Ribbons – Westbury Kennel Association (WKA) – Set of 5
Here we have rare set of five original 1922 dog show award ribbons from the Westbury Kennel Association in Westbury, Long Island (L.I.), New York. These beautifully preserved ribbons were awarded at a WKA Match Show and include: Three “SPECIAL” ribbons (Green & white split satin with gold text), Two “2nd PRIZE” ribbons (Solid off-white satin with gold text) Each ribbon measures approximately 2.75” wide by 8.5” long
The green and white satin finish has maintained impressive vibrance for its age, with gold-embossed lettering still highly visible. The reverse sides show natural age toning and minor spotting, consistent with items over a century old.
Good vintage condition with some age-related wear, light staining, and fraying to edges. One ribbon has a pointed bottom, another is slightly curled. Please see all photos for exact condition.
