Antique 1930s Sterling Tenor Banjo - New Tailpiece and Bridge - Fully Set Up!
For sale is an antique 1930s Sterling Tenor Banjo with a new tailpiece and grover bridge. This banjo came to us and needed the new tailpiece and bridge and our luthier gave it a full-set up and adjusted the neck angle for more comfortable playing. Comes with a non-original, chipboard case.
CONDITION:
Instrument is in good, antique condition, in our opinion. Cosmetically, there is some wear to the instrument on the rim and body. There is a crack on the back of the body as seen in the photos. Please see photos as an extension of our written description.
DIMENSIONS:
Scale length is 20 1/2".
Body has a diameter of 13 1/8" and the neck is approximately 19" long.
Banjo weighs in at 5 pounds, 8 ounces.

SPECIAL NOTE: It is with a very heavy heart that we wish to share the news of the recent passing of our almost 12 year old red & white beagle, our beloved Ace. He was our mascot, and namesake of this site. He gave us the initial inspiration to sign up with Reverb.com, primarily due to the name that we chose to use on this fantastic website. He was also the chief of security & official greeter for our brick & mortar shop, always ready to engage with the customers; tail wagging, happy & always on the lookout for any ingestible treats that the customer wished to share with him.
