Crafted primarily of solid brass, the leaf finial brackets show slight magnetic reaction, but the main arms do not.
The piece retains its original aged patina with expected surface wear, spots of oxidation, and traces of old lacquer consistent with age and use. The mechanism operates smoothly and remains structurally sound.
