Antique British Porcelain Cup and Saucer Mug Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee Commemorative
We are offering an antique porcelain cup, measuring about 3.25” tall and 4” in diameter (5” in diameter with the handle). This piece is a simple white porcelain with gold trim about the rim and a blue portrait of Queen Victoria alongside a banner reading “1837/ Diamond Jubilee/ 1897”. This piece would have been sold in Great Britain in commemoration of Queen Victoria’s lengthy reign of the country. This piece is the perfect addition to any collection.
Very good condition with no chips or cracks. There is crazing across the entire piece, as to be expected of porcelain of this age. The gilt rim is well worn.
