Antique Chinese Famille Verte Porcelain Converted Oil Lamp Trinket Bowl Works!
We are offering an antique Chinese porcelain oil lamp converted to electric, measuring about 26” tall altogether (21.25” to the top of the bulbs and 11” with just the oil lamp) and about 9” in diameter. This piece is a lovely famille verte porcelain, hand painted with a figural scene. This lamp is outfitted with two bulbs, each one with an independent pull string, set onto a wooden base. The bowl of the oil lamp would work perfectly as a trinket dish! This piece is the perfect addition to any collection.
Very good condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. The lamp works. There is some yellow staining to the glaze on the underside of the bowl and the cup at the top.
Disclaimer: Though the wiring still works, we always recommend old lamps be rewired.
