These plates were made by John Maddock and Sons Royal Vitreous of England in the pattern Roseville, as marked on the back. The pattern is a lovely Victorian filigree with leaves in the iconic white and blue of the flow blue style. This pair is the perfect addition to any collection.
Orientalism design of the Victorian period.
Good condition with no cracks or crazing. One plate has three minor chips and one larger chip, and the other has one minor chip and one larger chip, all along the edge. The pattern is a bit fuzzy, but this is a product of the manufacturing process and not due to any damage.
