Antique Framed Paper Silhouette Portrait Victorian Gentleman
Vintage/antique framed cut paper silhouette portrait depicting a standing gentleman in profile. Black silhouette mounted on paper within an older wood frame with glass. A nice decorative piece with classic Victorian-era styling, suitable for folk art, silhouette, and early portrait collectors.
Condition: Good condition with mild, but visible age and wear expected of ephemera of this age. Paper shows toning, waviness, creasing, and some spotting/discoloration. Interior mat and mount have age darkening. Frame has surface wear, scratches, finish loss, and general age-related handling wear. Backing paper is heavily torn and fragile, with old newspaper backing still present. Sold as found except for basic cleaning, unexamined out of frame.
