Here we have an Antique French brass compound microscope, distributed by the Perry Mason Company, Boston, MA. This early optical instrument dates back to the early 20th century. Brass construction with a three-power magnification system, original wooden storage box with functional metal clasps, instruction booklet. Includes original glass slides, including a sampled-slide labeled "Pollen de Lis".

The brass body shows signs of age with a natural patina. Lens optics are intact, though may require cleaning for optimal use. The wooden case is in good condition, with minor wear and functional hinges. The instruction sheet is delicate and has some wear but remains legible. The glass slide and mounted sample show signs of age, with some cracking. Unit is untested.
