Antique Hoffman Ofner Style Glass Tray Austria Deco Secessionist Geometric Rare
We are offering an antique metal and glass tray, measuring about 17.25” long, 6” wide, and 2” tall. This piece is attributed to Hans Ofner, a contemporary of Josef Hoffman, and the industrial, Art Deco style with geometric cutouts is indicative of his work with the Argentor studio in Vienna, Austria in the early 1900s. The metal is most likely nickel plate, which contrasts strikingly with the clear glass of the bottom of the tray. This piece is the perfect addition to any collection!
Excellent condition with no dents or cracks. There is some minor patina at the joining of the glass and metal, as expected of a piece of this age. Please inspect the provided photos carefully, as they are an extension of our written description.
