Antique Kestner All Bisque Mignonette Doll – Glass Eyes – Jointed – Miniature
Charming antique miniature all-bisque mignonette doll attributed to Kestner, likely dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. This small doll features a finely painted bisque head with fixed blue glass eyes, delicately painted brows, rosy cheeks, and coral lips.
Approx. 3 3/4"H x 1 1/4"WThe doll has a one-piece bisque head and torso with jointed arms and legs, connected by original wire loops typical of early mignonette construction. She retains molded and painted stockings and black shoes, along with a textured wig mat.
Mignonette dolls like this were commonly produced in Germany and sold as miniature dolls for dollhouses or as companion dolls for larger dolls, with Kestner being one of the most recognized manufacturers of the type.
Condition is consistent with age. The doll shows surface wear, small imperfections, and typical age marks. The wire arm and leg loops remain present, however, one of the hands is missing. Please review photos carefully for full condition details.
