ANTIQUE VICTORIAN SCANDINAVIAN LOHNE BROTHERS 830S SILVER SMALL TONG SERVER c1900
Offered here is a pair of circa 1900's Norwegian Brødrene Lohne (Brothers Lohne), Bergen, Norway, ornate tongs in .830 silver. (Brothers Lohne were founded in 1921 by Alf and Johan Lohne. Johan had a connection with Theodor Olsens as well as Georg Jensen in Denmark.) The round handles feature lovely swirls and light feathers, with a swirly, scissor like mid section finished with neat scalloped shell tongs! Great for serving small food or appetizers. Marked "830S", with a "Lo" hallmark.
Measures approximately: 4 1/2" Long x 1 7/8" Wide.
