Antique Sterling Frank W Smith Reticulated Basket Candy Comport Compote Bowl
We are offering an antique sterling silver footed bowl, measuring about 4 ⅞” in diameter (7 ⅜” with the handles) and 2 ⅞” tall. 150.3 grams.
This piece is marked sterling, has the maker’s mark of the Frank W Smith Silver Co, and includes what is probably a model number and date mark, “2283/ E”.
The pattern is a lovely Victorian filigree that carries down from the bowl into the foot. This piece is the perfect addition to any collection.
Excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
