Offered here is an antique, American Waltham circa 1870 pocket watch in a coin silver loin hunters case.
If you think of American timepieces, one name that will come to mind is American Waltham. Waltham is an icon of American Watches, selling watches to the public from
as early as 1853.
Here is a gorgeous antique American Waltham coin silver pocket watch Aesthetic era Victorian design.
It weighs 62.7 garms. We measured this to be 2s size.
The watch is not running. You can set the the time, but you cannot wind it. Please service this lovely watch!
It has a very beautiful clean original dial. The case hinges are still still strong. The watch is hard to find. Made in 1870 as indicated by the serial number :5,265,460.
The Coin Silver Hunter Case is in Excellent condition. It is impressed: crown, Coin Silver, 5377. The engraving is lovely and the covers close crisply.
This piece is in good vintage condition, however we are not a watch shop and
cannot guarantee the movement.
