Antique Victorian European 18k Gold Memento Mori Black Enamel Pearl Rose Cut Diamond Navette Ring Sz 8
Item here is an antique early Victorian European 18k gold Memento Mori black enamel “In Memory Of” pearl and rose cut diamond mourning memorial navette ring. This ring is marked 18k gold and has the hallmarks for being made in Birmingham, as well as an inscribed name with the date December 23, 1861. We were unable to determine the exact date made due to the letter and shape stamp not corresponding exactly with the hallmark system, but it is believed to be made some time between the 1860’s and 1870’s. An absolutely rare rose cute diamond memento ring that holds a lot of meaning and beauty.
