Antique Victorian Oak Glass Top Display Case / Dresser Showcase Late 19th Century Velvet Lined Treasure Box
Charming antique oak tabletop display case dating to the late 1800s Victorian period. Great for use as a small dresser showcase or “treasure chest” to display fine personal items such as jewelry, medals, watches, sewing tools, or other keepsakes.
Crafted from solid oak with dovetail joinery at the corners and a hinged glass lid. The interior is lined in aged velvet, now showing beautiful patina and tonal variation consistent with age. Decorative brass corner mounts (possibly ormolu style) accent the lid, along with period brass hinges and latch hardware.
A wonderful piece for showcasing small antiques, minerals, pocket watches, medals, or curated collections.

**Condition:**
Good antique condition with honest age wear. Surface wear, finish loss, and minor edge wear consistent with late 19th century use. Interior velvet shows fading and discoloration from age. There is a little movement in the glass due to one of the holding pieces being a little loose, but nothing a touch of wood glue couldn't solve. Regardless, the glass top is intact and should remain so with reasonable and gentle usage practices. Please review photos for details.
