Large Rare Antique Norwegian Norway Nils og Blåmann Boy Goat Heavy Pin 2.25"
Item being offered is a large and rare antique Victorian silver (probably 830 silver) Norwegian Norway pin/brooch. In the center of the brooch is an image of the Norwegian character Nils Og Blamannboy and depicts a boy hunting with a horned goat in a mountain terrain with a scrolly foliage boarder.
The clasp is a safety type clasp. The back is not marked, we have performed the appropriate testing to determine this piece is solid sterling silver. (It could be 830 silver, which was used as Norway's sterling)
Very substantial!
