Antique Wedgwood Black Basalt Teapot England Rare Mourning Victorian
We are offering an antique Wedgwood teapot, measuring about 7” tall and 7” at its widest point. This piece is in the striking black basalt color with the minimal decoration meaning there is nothing to obscure the incredible craftsmanship. The inside of the teapot is glazed with a built-in strainer and the outside is matte. This piece is the perfect addition to any collection!
The bottom is marked “Wedgwood” alongside some miscellaneous numbers and letters, dating this piece to sometime before 1891, probably the mid-1800s.
Excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
