We are offering an antique Wedgwood teapot, measuring about 4.5” tall and 8.25” at its widest point (roughly 5.5” across). This piece is in the striking black basalt color, a matte black, with an understated fluted design across the body and lid and small leaf detailing around the spout and handle. This truly unique piece is the perfect addition to any collection!
The bottom of the piece is marked “Wedgwood”, dating it to sometime before 1891, most likely the early 19th century.
Very good to excellent condition with no cracks. There is a chip on the inner rim of the pot beneath the handle, which is completely covered when the lid is closed. Please inspect our provided photos carefully, as they are an extension of our written description.
