We are offering an antique Wedgwood vase, measuring about 7.75” tall and 4.5” in diameter at its neck (3.25” at the base). This piece is in the striking black basalt color, a matte black, with a fluted body and scroll of grapevines in high relief around the neck. This truly unique piece is the perfect addition to any collection!
The bottom is marked “Wedgwood” and “England” along with a letter “C”. This dates the piece to some point between 1891 and 1908.
Very good condition with no chips. The foot of the vase seems to have been reattached at some point, but the repair is so seamless we nearly missed it during our inspection. Please look over the provided photos carefully, as they are an extension of our written description.
