Antique Wedgwood Porcelain Dark Green Jasperware Pitcher Jug England Rare 4.75”
We are offering an antique Wedgwood jug, measuring about 4.75” tall and 6” at its widest point. This piece is in a striking dark green, with the iconic Wedgwood Jasperware pattern around the body and a laurel trim about the rim in high relief. The inside is glazed while the outside is not. This truly unique piece is the perfect addition to any collection!
The bottom of the piece is marked “Wedgwood” and “England” along with some numbers and letters, dating it to sometime between 1891 and 1908.
Very good to excellent condition with no chips.There is some surface cracking to the relief around the spout and handle, which is very common in pieces of this age. Also common is the color bleed into the cream relief, giving it a slightly green hue. Please inspect the provided photos carefully, as they are an extension of our written description.
