We are offering an antique Wedgwood lidded sugar bowl, measuring about 4” tall and 5” in diameter with the handles. This piece is in the iconic cream on dark blue, with the classic Wedgwood Jasperware pattern around the body and a leaf scroll about the lid. The inside is glazed while the outside is not. This truly unique piece is the perfect addition to any collection!
The bottom of the piece is marked “Wedgwood” along some miscellaneous numbers, dating it to sometime before 1891. We believe it to be from around the 1810s.
Very good condition with no cracks. There is one very small chip in the rim, which is barely visible, and one chip on the inside of the lid, which can’t be seen when the piece is closed. There is some discoloration to the white and small surface cracks in the relief, as to be expected of a piece of this age. Please inspect the provided photos carefully, as they are an extension of our written description.
