We are offering an antique Wedgwood creamer, measuring about 2.25” tall and 4.75” at its widest point. This piece is in the striking black basalt color, a matte black, with an understated sterling silver rim to increase the elegance of the piece. The inside is glazed while the outside is not. This truly unique piece is the perfect addition to any collection!
The bottom of the piece is marked “Wedgwood” along with some miscellaneous letters, dating it to sometime before 1891. The silver is marked with a series of British hallmarks, dating it to the year 1878 in Sheffield, England. The maker’s mark is “AJR” in a clover.
Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The silver rim is lifting up and may need to be glued down but is not damaged.
