We are offering an antique Wedgwood pitcher, measuring about 4.75” tall and 3.5” at its widest point. This piece is in the striking black basalt color, a matte black, with the iconic Wedgwood Jasperware pattern around the body and an understated sterling silver rim to increase the elegance of the piece. The inside is glazed while the outside is not. This truly unique piece is the perfect addition to any collection!
The bottom of the piece is marked “Wedgwood” along with some numbers and letters, dating it to sometime before 1891. The silver is marked with a series of British hallmarks, dating it to the year 1910 in Birmingham, England. The maker’s mark is from Evans & Co.
Very good condition with no cracks. There is a chip along the bottom. Please inspect the provided photos carefully, as they are an extension of our written description.
