Such a cool and unusual piece! So rare!
We are offering an antique Brower Brothers letter file cabinet, measuring about 29”x13”x26”. This piece is a gorgeous mahogany, with double doors on the front and ten drawers inside. Each drawer and along the front is labeled with a brass plate.
Very unusual as both doors fold all the way back on both sides of the piece to get out of the way. That is a very rare feature.
Nine of the drawers include the original Brower Brothers filing folders. At the bottom is a small shelf that extends perpendicular to the piece. This cannot support weight as a step, and was most likely for holding papers during sorting. At the bottom of the right door is a brass tab that looks like it will lock the door.

Very good condition with age related wear. There are some scratches in the wood and one crack along the top. We have not detailed or polished the piece. It can be cleaned up to be beautiful with polish!
