Rare Hand-Blown Four-Chamber Etched Glass Decanter – Likely French, Early 20th Century
Here we have an unusual vintage four-chamber decanter featuring finely etched floral and geometric motifs on each panel. Crafted from clear glass, this piece is hand-blown with a visible pontil scar at the base, consistent with artisanal glasswork from the early 20th century. Each compartment has its own spout, allowing for the separate storage and pouring of different liqueurs.
The design, construction, and form are consistent with French decorative glassware from the 1900–1930 period, although no maker’s mark is present and attribution remains speculative. Similar examples have been noted in early 20th-century French crystal catalogs.
A rare and striking example of multi-chambered barware, ideal for collectors of vintage glass, Art Nouveau, or early cocktail-era pieces
