Rare VTG Gold on Silver Russian Cognac Baltic Amber and Rhinestones Floral Brooch
The item being offered is a beautiful rare fine vintage gold vermeil (gold on Sterling silver) Russian cognac real baltic amber and glass rhinestone flower brooch/pin. The petals ate richly colored marquis shaped cognac amber cabs, and the center of the flower is faceted rhinestone paste stones. This piece is stamped with a russian hallmark. The clasp is a safety type clasp.
Amber is fossilized tree resin, which has been appreciated for its color and natural beauty since Neolithic times.
