Here we have a lot of 10 original award ribbons from the Greenwich Kennel Club (GKC) dog show held on June 7, 1931, in Greenwich, Connecticut. These authentic pieces of American Kennel Club (AKC) history are nearly a century old and beautifully preserved, making them a rare find for collectors of canine memorabilia or vintage ephemera.
Included in this lot: 3 Green “SPECIAL” Award Ribbons, 5 Red “SECOND PRIZE” Ribbons, 3 Blue “FIRST PRIZE” Ribbons
Each ribbon features embossed gold foil lettering with the GKC and AKC logos and the event date: June 7, 1931. The ribbons measure approximately 2.5 inches wide by 8.5 inches long, based on included measurement photos.
