VINTAGE BLACK AMETHYST GLASS w/ STERLING SILVER FLORAL OVERLAY FLUTED VASE
Offered here is an Vintage Black Amethyst Footed Fluted Bud Vase with silver overlay patterns, Sterling Trim around the foot of the base, and a pretty floral bouquet in sterling on the front facade. Has a beautiful shiny finish. Black amethyst glass appears black until it is held to the light, then a dark purple can be seen. It has been made in many factories from 1860 to the present. Unmarked, unsigned.
Measures approximately 6" Tall x 2 3/4" Diameter (base), 3" Diameter opening at top.
Item is in good condition with some wear to the silver overlay patterning, but nothing significant enough to detract from the beauty or integrity of this wonderfully colored vase!
