Antique-Style Cherub Perfume Bottles w/ Ormolu Holder – Pair w/ Glass Dabbers
This elegant pair of decorative perfume bottles features finely cast cherub figures playing trumpets, mounted atop clear glass dabbers and housed in an ornate gold plated filigree metal holder. The design draws heavily from late 19th-century French Rococo Revival aesthetics, with scrolling foliage, shell motifs, and a central cherub vignette adorning the stand.
Each square glass bottle is set into the holder and topped with a removable figural stopper. The glass dabbers remain intact and fit securely into their respective bottles.
The holder itself is richly detailed on all sides and stands on four decorative feet, giving the set a substantial and display-worthy presence. While no definitive maker’s marks were found, comparable examples are often attributed to European—frequently French—production, dating to the late 19th or early-mid 20th century. Materials are likely a combination of cast brass or spelter with gilt finish and molded clear glass.
A striking vanity, dresser, or curio display piece, ideal for collectors of antique perfume bottles, figural metalwork, or romantic Victorian-inspired décor.
