Vintage Fenton Custard Uranium Glass Swung Bud Vase Hand Painted Birds Signed
We are offering a vintage Fenton glass bud vase, measuring about 9” tall and 2.5” in diameter at the base with a narrow 1” diameter neck. This piece is cast in Fenton’s signature custard glass, a uranium glass with a satin finish that looks striking with or without blacklight. The design depicts lovely blue birds perched on thin tree branches. This piece is also one of Fenton’s swung vases, which were manually swung around while the glass was still malleable to create the fluted necks, making each piece unique. This piece is the perfect addition to any collection.
The bottom is stamped with Fenton’s maker’s mark and is signed “Hand Painted by C Shaffer”. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
