We are offering a vintage Chinese white jade statue, measuring approx. 7” high x 5.8” x 2” without the base.
The jade on its own weighs 874 grams. MidCentury modern decoration for your residence! Excellent condition with no chips.
The base is most likely rosewood? and made to fit this statue specifically. The figurine has a hard time standing with the base. Base not necessary to use.
Included is the original box, measuring about 10.5” x 7” x 4”.
The piece is carved out of a single piece of hetian jade and depicts in incredible detail a leaping fish alongside other symbols of wealth and good fortune, like a bat and string of coins. The back side is also carved with bamboo and possibly a medicine gourd.
This piece is the perfect addition to any collection.
Excellent condition with no chips. Box shows wear.
