 Hans Figura (Austrian, 1898-1978)

Mid Century  color etching w aquatint on Silk  of a mountain  and tree scene by Hans Figura. Pretty winter scene called Lonely Pines. Simple elegant aesthetics of a Chinese wood block print with French flair.  Stillness. Mindfulness print. Beautiful simplicity.

Signed "Hans Figura" in pencil bottom right.

1950's era.

Nice black wood frame. Matted.

Measures 23.5" H   x  22 .5" W x 1.25" deep. View measures approx.  19" H   x  14" W x 1.25" deep

Excellent condition. Pencil signed. Lithograph printed on silk. A mix of Chinese and French influence. Minor nicks on frame - nothing severe or distracting enough to pull away the eyes.
