Amazing vintage hand-blown art glass pedestal bowl featuring a dramatic ruffled rim in rich ruby red with hues of green and yellow. Classic mid-century Italian Murano sommerso technique.
The bowl is mounted on an ornate cast metal pedestal base with a decorative floral/scroll motif. Nice Hollywood Regency or Italian revival look. The contrast between the fluid glass and heavy base makes it an eye-catching centerpiece.
