We are offering a working vintage coin bank, reproduced in the 1960s from the Book of Knowledge, depicting a classic puppeteer scene. When the lever is pulled, the character on the left pulls out a pan for inserting coins. By pushing down the small switch on the side, the pan will go insert the coins into the bank while the other character swings his baton.
The back is top is marked “Punch and Judy” and the bottom is marked “Reproduced from original in collection of the Book of Knowledge” and "Pat Feb 2 1875".
It measures approximately 7 1/8" tall x 6" wide x 3 1/2" deep.
Condition:
There is some wear on the bank with some paint chipping but we gave it a light brushing to remove dust. While it fully works, it could use a cleaning. The bank comes with a stopper. Please look at photos as an extension of our written description.
