We consider this recorder to be in very good cosmetic and operating condition. Besides times of maintenance, This unit spent the majority of its life racked in a professional studio in Brooklyn. There are typical rack related scratching on the top of the unit and of course on the rack ears. Item it tested and working. Play/FF/RW work well, the winds work quickly. Tested recording came through with nice quality. I would recommend running a head-cleaning tape for good measure, but it sounded very nice to me. No original box/manual but the manual is available on the Internet Archive and other sources.
Comes with a technically brand new BASF DAT Tape that we just opened and only used to test the functional condition of this unit. So as a bonus, you get 0:45 seconds of recorded noodling on our Korg MS-20. Aren't you just excited now?
