Vintage WWII Era Parking Authority Police Metal Alloy Pinback Set Germany
Set of two Vintage WWII-era metal alloy parking authority/police pins, c.1940, from an unknown German manufacturer. The first "Parking Permitted" piece is square-shaped with a large raised "P" shown around faded blue color, marked "Parkplatz, .1". The second "Parking Prohibitted" piece is circular and shows an embossed "P" with a diagonal slash painted in red paint, marked on rear "Parkverbot, .1".
Blue piece measures 1" Long x 1" Wide, while the circular piece measures 7/8" in Diameter.
Good. Paint wear shows to both the objects, more severe on the blue item. Minor surface rubbing and scratching on the faces. Light wear around edges, nothing compromising the shape. Functioning and secure pinbacks on rear.
