Yamaha MT120 Multitrack Cassette Recorder w/ Original Box ~Powers On, Audio Out Issue, Tape Eater, Needs Repairs*
Here we have a Yamaha MT120 classic 4-track cassette recorder from the early to mid 1990s. It’s a more compact, affordable solution for layering tracks using standard cassette tapes compared to the TASCAM 244. Some users may appreciate the manually lifted tape-cover versus a mechanized or gear operated cover. Very easy to fit into your studio, practice space, or live set up to capture your performances and create some new merchandise for your fans to enjoy.

*Conditon*
This unit has been tested and powers on. Inputs pass signal, and the tape mechanism engages. However, it currently has the following known issues:
- Left channel is dead on all outputs (monitor out, stereo out, phones).
- Monitor/Phones pot is scratchy and intermittently cuts out—likely just needs cleaning.
- Tape mechanism eats tapes – likely due to worn belts. May also require pinch roller replacement if belt replacement does not resolve the issue.
Cosmetically clean with all faders, sliders, and knobs present and intact. Includes the original Yamaha box (good condition but has wear) foam packing inserts, power cable, and warranty card (see photos). Box shows edge wear and tear.
Ideal for repair, restoration, or parts.
*Note: There is only one power chord that comes with it. An incorrect cord snuck it's way into the box (and hence, into our picture). Rest assured, you'll be getting the correct/original power cable. No other cables included.
