We are offering a vintage Chinese mottled green and white hetian jade statue figurine, measuring about 6” high x 9” wide x 2” deep without the base. The base is most likely rosewood? and made to fit this statue specifically.
MidCentury era. Hollywood Regency!
Included is the original box, measuring about 12.25” high x 8.5” wide x 4” deep. The piece is carved out of a single piece of hetian jade and depicts in incredible detail a man tending to a grove of peaches alongside other symbols of longevity.
The back side is also carved with a large stylized Shou.
This piece is the perfect addition to any collection. 1950's era.
The jade on its own weighs 1308 grams.
Excellent condition with no chips. Box shows wear. The figurine may have hard time standing with the base, not necessary to use as it will stand on a table..
