Vtg Lladró #2095 “Duck Pulling Pigtail” Gres Finish, Retired Porcelain (1978–97)
Here we have an original Lladró porcelain figurine titled “Duck Pulling Pigtail” (#01012095), a charming and now-retired piece sculpted by Juan Huerta and first issued in 1978. This scene features a young girl in traditional attire, looking over her shoulder as a curious duck gently tugs at one of her long pigtails.
Rendered in Lladró’s signature Gres finish (a soft, matte stoneware-style glaze), this piece showcases earthy tones and naturalistic textures that differ from their glossy porcelain line. It remains a favorite among collectors for its playful subject matter and sculptural depth.
