We are offering a vintage Italian majolica ceramic box, measuring about 5.25” tall, 5.25” wide, 8.25” long, and 2.75” deep. This piece is meant to look like a wicker basket full to the brim with strawberries, glazed in red and green to make them glossy and bright.
This piece is the quintessential Italian rustic style.
The bottom is marked “C(?).O.S./ 279/ Italy”. This piece is the perfect addition to any collection.
Very good condition with no cracks , however there are a couple age related flakes on a few leaf ends. There is some crazing that is not particularly noticeable.
