VTG Wedgwood Porcelain Portland Blue Jasperware Etruscan Ewer Pitcher England 6”
We are offering a vintage Wedgwood jasperware Etruscan jug in Portland blue, measuring about 6” tall and 5” at its widest point. This piece is in the iconic Wedgwood style of Greco-Roman revival, with a pastoral scene of cherubs and maidens wrapping around the middle and bordered on the top and bottom by a geometric floral design. The inside of the jug is glazed while the outside is not. This piece is the perfect addition to any collection!
This bottom is marked “Wedgwood” and “Made in England” sans serif along with multiple letters and numbers. It is most likely mid-century. Please see the provided pictures.
Excellent condition with no chips. There are some minor surface cracks in the relief, which is very common in Wedgwood pieces.
