Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre Imari Panels Bowl, Cobalt Blue & Gold, c.1915-1930
An exceptional and rare variation of a Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre bowl, designed in the early 20th century under Daisy Makeig-Jones, c.1915–1930. This striking example features the “Imari Panels” interior decoration, with alternating pointed panels of stylized foliate motifs in shades of iron red, cobalt blue, and soft green surrounding a central hummingbird and floral vignette.
The exterior is finished in a deep cobalt blue lustre ground, richly decorated with hand-gilded floral sprays, borders, and rim detailing.
The base is marked with the Wedgwood urn stamp and “England” along with painter’s/decorator’s marks (J&P or JSP)
Dimensions: Approx. 4" Diameter x 2 1/8"H
