Antique 1800's Samson Hand Painted Scenes Urn Lid Lidded Porcelain Vase 13"H Beautiful

Item being offered is a rare 19th century hand painted lidded hand painted covered Samson urn vase. The urn features light blue, floral and gold gilt trim and detail
work, some of the gold leaf painted designs are raised. On either side of the vase is a hand painted scene. Beautiful hand painted colors! On the front is a scene of
a bard playing music for two seated ladies. On the back is a painted forest/river scene. On the bottom of the vase is the blue Meissen crossed swords under the
glaze mark, however, it is a copy made by the French antique firm Samson.

Held together with a steel rod. Top quality!

Condition: Good; item has signs of wear as well as older restoration work. The inside of the base has two cracks that have been stabilized. the left handle has a
cracked that has been stabilized . There are several cracks along the rim which have been stabilized . The ornament tip on the lid was broken off and glued back
on. Some of the gold gilt trim has worn off. The inside of the lid has 2 old restorations as well old glue under the lid. Please closely look at the pictures provided as they are an extension of our written description.
