Antique Art Deco Bookend Horse Tamer Pair Bronzed Cast Iron Solid Equestrian

We are offering an antique pair of bookends, each measuring about 4.75” tall, 6.5” wide, and 2” deep. The design is quintessentially Art Deco, with strong composition lines in the horse and the man running alongside it. The back of each is stamped “Horse Tamer”. Solid cast iron is the perfect weight to hold up a collection of books without tipping over, and the bronze finish gives the relief a sense of depth that really makes it stand out. This pair is the perfect addition to any collection.

Very good to excellent condition with minimal age-related wear. There is some surface rust on the back of one of the pieces. The felting at the bottom is completely intact.
