Josef Hoffmann  Antique Condiment Gitterwork Server- Vienna Secession WIENER WERKSTATTE

Here is a cool condiment Gitterwork server with art stylings attributed to Josef Hoffmann or another Vienna Secession WIENER WERKSTATTE designers of the era. The item features three separate 2x4 square cutouts on a sheet metal and silver/zinc plated piece.   With an original cranberry red glass insert. There is also a cutout on the top lid for a serving spoon to fit.

The glass could be made by Koloman Moser, Wiener Werkstatte .

There are no identifying markings on the item, however it came from an estate of first-generation Austrian immigrants where we found many Hoffmann, Haganauer, and other famous Jugendstil pieces from the early to mid-20th century.

Condition: Item is pre-owned but in excellent condition. There are minimal spots of tarnish and scuffs on the silver and the glass has a few faint scratches on the bottom of the glass. One slight fleabite chip on the top rim, almost no roughness. Please look closely at the pictures provided as they are an extension of our written description.

Approx 5 1/2" tall with a 4 1/8" diameter
